5.0 Lollipop ROM for HTC Desire 816

CyanogenMod 12  (5.0 Lollipop ROM for HTC Desire 816)

Hello friends as we all know Google has finally released the much awaited android framework 5.0 Lollipop. But till now it is available for some selected high end devices which are very costly also so most of us are trying to find an alternative for these device which can have the Lollipop OS.
I am sorry but there is no any mid range device which is getting OTA update of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
 But don't wory here i am going to give you a happy news that we can use htc desire 816 as a good alternative of these high end device let us have a look upon the specs of desire 816-

Some of the things that are not working on CM12 for HTC Desire 816 are:

Second SIM (Dual SIM variants)
NFC
FM Radio
Wifi Tethering

Most of these are not serious. Other devices can’t get WiFi, GPS or mobile data to work.

1.ROM

2.Recovery (it will be used to flash cm12)

STEPS OF INSTALLATION-

• Make a backup first!
• Boot into Recovery
• Wipe Cache/Data
• Install Zip (optional: Gapps; Use google how to get cm 12 gapps)
• Select the ROM's zip
• Done
